Internal Gas Liquid Separator

Eaton internal gas liquid separators, formerly Wright Austin, are designed for installation inside receivers, steam drums, and other vessels.

Carbon and steel construction for both up flow and down flow applications.

Features

Fabricated Carbon Steel Construction with 304L Stainless Steel Blades Features:
Compact design.
No moving parts to wear out, no required maintenance.
When properly sized, installed, and drained, will remove up to 99% of all liquid and solid entrainment where particle size exceeds 10 microns.
Type 60-I has an up flow configuration.
Type 70-I has a down flow configuration.
Eaton internal gas liquid separators use centrifugal motion to force the entrained liquids and solids to the outer wall of the separator where they collect and fall to a bottom drain. Drawn from the clean and dry center of the separator, the exit gas stream is free of condensate, which corrodes exposed metal components. Downstream installation improves the effectiveness of heat exchangers, intercooler and aftercooler equipment, steam turbines. Maintenance and Spare Parts:
Eaton separators have no moving parts. All components are either bolted or welded into place. Therefore parts lists are not available. The separators are bolted, threaded, or welded into the lines. They are self-cleaning, and do not need lubrication or maintenance. For this reason, lubricating, operating and maintenance manuals are not available.
